Our ELAC committeee
The purpose of the English Learners Advisory Committee (ELAC) is threefold. First and foremost, through our ELAC meetings, parents begin to orient themselves to the California school system and Redwood City School District in particular and are given ongoing information so they may support their child's schooling at home. Secondly, the parents are asked for their advice about the ways that the school may support their English learners and lastly, parents are informed of the school's program to bring their children to proficiency in English. The committee is led by the school administration and Henry Ford parents. All our welcome to join us!
Meetings are held the 3rd Monday of the month at 8:30 a.m. on campus
