On any given day, Henry Ford School students are moving and exercising their bodies in physical education classes, learning ethics and kindness in our character education program (Project Cornerstone) and  developing their artistic and creative skills in Art in Action as well as our music programs. You can also find them diving into new ideas and exciting stories through our well-stocked library or thru use of Chromebooks and iPads.  Henry Ford offers after school care programs thru the REACH program and Catalyst program.

Our teachers are well trained and experienced in differentiating instruction so that all students have the knowledge and skills to reach their potential. Differentiated instruction involves providing students with individual avenues to learning (often in the same classroom) and acquiring content—processing, constructing, or making sense of ideas—so all students learn effectively and successfully, regardless of their differences.

Henry Ford School offers a variety of “Whole Child” Activities such as Art in Action Program for K-5 Grade, Music for Learning Program for 2-4 Grade, Music for Minors for Kindergarten sponsored by the PTA, Physical Education once a week for half hour sessions sponsored by the PTA. In addition, there are a variety of after school activities such as individual garden space for each class, service learning projects, active student government for 3-5 Grades, as well as the Conflict Managers Program for 4-5 grades, the Bridges to Safety program, and school wide recycling.
