After School Sports

Boys Playing Hockey at Clifford School

The Redwood City After School Sports Program is a school-based sports program that is provided by the Redwood City Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department (PRCS), in collaboration with the South County Sheriff’s Activities League (SC-SAL), Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula (BGCP), the Redwood City Police Activities League (PAL) and Redwood City School District (RCSD).

Our programs encourage good sportsmanship, teamwork, positive attitudes, and mutual respect to build a strong community within Redwood City.  In addition, we promote life-skills development by providing a safe place for youth to engage in physical activity, which aids in developing their talents and self-esteem.

Families interested in having their students participate in after school sports can contact the Redwood City Parks and Recreation Department.
