Our School Garden

Due to changes in funding, our garden program has been postponed while we seek other funding sources.  Meanwhile, all Henry Ford students in grades TK-5th will participate in gardening minimally on a monthly basis.  Each grade level has a planting box for students to engage in a hands-on gardening experience as they learn about a wide range of topics from soil composition and plant life cycles to food systems and animal habitats.  In the garden, students can engage with nature, learn about where their food comes from, and develop important life skills.
