About Me:

I am Debbie Figaro, one third of the amazing kinder team here at Henry Ford! I grew up in Redwood City and went to college at UCLA. I started teaching at Hoover Elementary before coming to Henry Ford. The abundance of learning in kindergarten continues to excite me everyday as each and every moment is a teachable one! The balance of rigor and joy is what we strive for daily. I have 2 kids of my own who keep me busy outside of school, and also love to read, go to the beach, travel and do yoga in my spare time.
